Info for Dance at First Presbyterian Hall:

This is an all ages & all skill level dance with a live old time band and live calling/instruction.  First time square dancers are highly encouraged and welcome!!

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Shoes don’t have to be anything special but generally should be something with a smooth sole (sneakers, leather dress shoes, dance shoes). Some people even choose to go barefoot.

$5 Entry

BYOB (ice chests provided), and usually we sell bowls of red beans and rice for just a dollar a bowl.

7:30pm: Introductory dance lesson. Usually includes some partner dancing basics and an introduction to square dancing.

8 – 10 pm: Square dancing, waltzing and maybe even a Two-Step!

5401 S. Claiborne Avenue (Click for directions).  Entrance to the dance hall is around the back of the church so you actually enter from S. Prieur St.
